About PopArtist

PopArtist is the operating system for the art world. We give galleries the operational layer they've never had — roster, inventory, shows, and collectors in one place — and we give every artist they represent a verified, portable record of their career. Brands, fairs, museums, and auction houses access that record through dedicated tools.

Day-one, we serve emerging contemporary and mid-market galleries in New York and the artists they represent. The platform is designed to scale up to blue-chip galleries and out to other artist disciplines over time.

No. We don't sell art on popartist.com, and we never will. Sales happen between galleries and their collectors, or between artists and verified brand buyers. PopArtist is the trust and operating layer underneath those transactions — never the storefront.

ArtLogic is a closed gallery database. Artsy is a public marketplace. Saatchi Art is a print and direct-sales platform. PopArtist is a gallery operating system with a public artist record on top — closer in structure to LinkedIn or Carta than to any of the above.

Galleries pay a monthly subscription based on roster size and seat count. Artists are free at the basic tier, with a Pro tier for custom domains, advanced analytics, and priority placement. Brands pay a subscription plus a commission fee on verified deals sourced through PopArtist. Full pricing on the pricing page.

Galleries: request access on the request page; we onboard a limited number of design-partner galleries each month in New York. Artists: if your gallery is on PopArtist, your record is already being prepared — claim it when invited. If your gallery isn't yet on PopArtist, join the waitlist.

For Galleries

Yes. We migrate your roster, inventory, contacts, and show history during onboarding. Most galleries are fully migrated inside two weeks; we handle the heavy lifting and confirm every record with your team before going live.

Each plan includes a fixed number of user seats. Add additional seats à la carte if your team grows. There are no hidden per-action fees — what you see on the pricing page is what you pay.

Month-to-month. No annual lock-in, no multi-year commitments. Cancel any month with 30 days' notice.

Email support on every plan, priority response on Pro, and a dedicated success manager on Plus. During onboarding every gallery gets direct access to the team that built the product.

Always. Your roster, inventory, contacts, and show history export to CSV at any time, with no questions asked. Your records belong to you.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on SOC 2-aligned infrastructure, with role-based access control on every gallery account. Collector and acquisition data is never shared, sold, or surfaced to other galleries.

For Artists

When your gallery joins PopArtist, your record is assembled from your shows, works, and history — and held for you to claim. You confirm and customize before anything goes public.

Verified means an event in your record — a show, a representation relationship, an acquisition — has been confirmed by the gallery, institution, or buyer involved. Verified flags are visible on your public profile.

You do. Your work, your history, your record. PopArtist is the infrastructure that holds it; you control what's public, what's private, and where it goes.

Yes. Export your full record at any time — works, history, provenance, contacts you own. If you switch galleries, your record travels with you.

Yes. You can remove your public profile at any time, and request full deletion of your underlying data. Verified events tied to other parties (a gallery's show, a museum's acquisition) remain in those parties' records.

Free for the basic tier — claim your record, public profile, verified-by flags, and basic analytics. Pro is $12/month for custom domain, advanced analytics, multiple portfolios, and priority placement in discovery.

For the Industry

Brands access a verified commission marketplace — real artists, real budgets, fair terms. Galleries representing those artists are looped in automatically and earn a representation cut on every deal.

Fairs use PopArtist data to evaluate exhibitors with verified history rather than self-reported pitches, and to coordinate exhibitor logistics in one workflow.

Curators and acquisition committees use PopArtist to discover artists with structured records, and to run residency and acquisition pipelines on shared infrastructure with the galleries that represent them.

Collectors and advisors get structured discovery, due-diligence-grade provenance, and a single source of truth for the artists they follow — without surveilling a gallery's private CRM.

Auction houses get access to a primary-market record built to be the source of truth decades from now: structured, gallery-verified, and designed to compound into the secondary market.
